Pressure injury Prevention & Management

During this interactive collaborative learning session, participants will learn about pressure injuries and the role of the team.   Participants will have the opportunity to work through a facilitated case discussion.

1. Learners will gain knowledge regarding a holistic approach to pressure injury prevention and management within an acute care setting
2. Learners will be able to verbalize their roles and responsibilities as they relate to pressure injury prevention and management.
3. Learners will explore navigating an interprofessional conflict by using a problem based learning approach.
4. Learners will acknowledge how to engage participation of patient/family/community to promote pressure injury prevention and management.
