Chinese University of Hong Kong and University of Toronto Class on IPE (2 Exposure Level Recognition)

Join the medical, nursing, social work, and pharmacy students at the Chinese University in Hong Kong to study interprofessional practice together within the context of the healthcare system of the two countries. The focus will be on providing students with an opportunity to work with older adults living in community settings. The content will focus on learning about the health and social care systems in both countries, assessing and managing challenges of older adults who are living in the community. Faculty from both countries will be facilitating.

The schedule is as follows (Students must attend all 5 sessions in order to receive recognition for the program):

• Monday, May 29th   20:00 p.m.- 22:15 p.m.  Meet your small group (CUHK and U of T students)
• Monday, June 5, 12, 19, 26 - Class from 20:30 p.m. - 23:30 p.m.
• UofT students are expected to stay in the class until 10pm, and invited to stay for the full duration of the class. Students are engaged in group work and some engagement with the group outside of class is expected

Expectations: Meet with CUHK students, participate in the first half of class and small group activities, and contribute to final group presentation.
